Each wooden block has north and south facing magnets hidden inside, significantly reducing the risk associated with children swallowing magnets and is made in Honduras from sustainably sourced FSC-certified Honduran hardwoods. Safe, no lead, non-toxic, water-based lacquers are used for colours and clear coats.

Tegu actively supports education for children who would otherwise work on a trash dump, reforestation and provides employment in Honduras, one of the poorest nations in the western hemisphere.
